A turbocharger is a vehicle component that utilises the exhaust gas energy of a vehicle to compress the fresh air supply to the engine, allowing more oxygen to enter the engine and increasing performance. The structure of a turbocharger consists mainly of a turbine wheel and a compressor wheel, which are firmly connected to each other via a common shaft. By utilising the exhaust gases to rotate the turbine wheel, the compressor wheel is also driven, which then compresses the fresh air in the engine’s combustion chamber, allowing for higher performance and better fuel efficiency. The remanufactured Encory turbochargers guarantee you the same premium quality and performance as a new part – reliable and environmentally friendly.
In the first step of the remanufacturing process, the turbocharger cores are completely dismantled and wear parts are removed. The dismantled parts are cleaned using an ultrasonic bath and particle blasting. In the next step, the condition of the parts is assessed in order to decide which other parts are to be replaced or reused. The individual components of the turbocharger are assembled and undergo an end-of-line test to ensure functional quality.
